Artist Anne Sherwood Pundyk will lead a class for all levels on the practice of drawing from observation using pencil on paper. Anne will start with a brief demonstration of simple techniques for creating shading and shadows. Participants will draw subjects from life of their own choosing indoors or out. Throughout the 90-minute class, Anne will visit individually with class members to give instructions on subjects relevant to each student’s work such as composition, contour, volume, and surface texture.
